Our Christmas present from my dad was a year family pass to the zoo. This past weekend we were able to take Emmett. He LOVES his animal books the best. So, we were very excited to take him. We had taken him once before, but he was 6 weeks old so it doesn't really count. He seemed to really enjoy it this time. We were only able to do about half the zoo before he was done and ready for a nap, but since we have a pass and can go whenever we'd like it didn't seem to matter. He got excited when he saw the peacocks and zebras. He got mad at us when we would not let him down to crawl with the peacocks. The elephants caught his attention quite a bit. He called them dogs. Actually, everything with 4 legs was a dog. He also was fascinated by the giraffes. He was a little scared but excited too. Overall, it was a great day for the Breukers at the zoo.
