Yesterday we were all eating breakfast. Emmett sits in his Bumbo at the table. He leans and reaches from his seat quite a bit. He wanted my coffee. So, I moved it out of his reach. He was done eating, and I was standing at the sink cleaning up. The next thing I hear is a thud and dripping like running water. I look over and my son had leaned over and pulled the placement closer to him so that he could reach my coffee cup. Once he got it, he knock it over (the thud). My coffee was all over the table and dripping on the floor. He is just staring at us like "what?" Eric and I couldn't help but laugh. It was our own fault for underestimating him. But what a stinker! Needless to say nothing is left on the place mats any more.
