We've been in Michigan for 2 weeks. We just returned late Tuesday. The visit was GREAT! I was sad to leave. I often wish we wouldn't have moved. Maybe someday we'll make it back to the area.
The flight home did not go as well as the flight out. On the way out Emmett was a champ. I could not have asked for a better baby. The way home however was a different story. The first flight was 2 and 1/2 hours. An hour and half or so was all crying and screaming. The second flight he slept the whole way, which was nice. Once we got home however, Emmett and I slept only about 3 hours. He screamed so much during the night, that I now have a horse baby. I don't think he's feeling awesome. His gums are really red and he as has cut 1 tooth so I believe that may have some thing to do with it. Plus it has just been a lot being gone 2 weeks and he reached his breaking point I think. We survived. We are just trying to get back into routine before I go back to work Monday.
