Halloween @ the Symphony

Eric and I were able to go on a very fun free date. He got free tickets to the symphony from work for Friday night. It was their Big Band show. It was so much fun. We both really enjoy that jazzy type of music. There was a guest conductor for the show. Randomly, he was from Grand Rapids and has done a lot of teaching at Aquinas, Grand Valley, and other West Michigan colleges as well as the GR symphony. There was also a lady who did some singing. She was amazing...and from Jenison MI. Very small world we live in.

We didn't have to get all dressed up, but we did because we so very rarely have a reason too. It all felt very grown up. Eric and I were some of the youngest people there, but we didn't care because we had so much fun. I do wish we would have been able to get up and dance a little. It was hard to sit still with that type of music playing. We were seated right in the middle of all the old people, I didn't feel like getting yelled at for blocking their view. We did a lot of shoe tapping and head bobbing though.

We are so bad at remembering to take pictures, but we did remember last night. So good for us. Eric and I outside the music hall at intermission.
Eric likes this picture b/c of his serious face. He's so silly.
Eric climbed up on the ledge of the water fall.
He almost fell in when he jumped down.
I totally would have laughed had he fell in, but I'm glad he didn't.
It would have put a damper on the evening
Our cheesy smiles. We are cute!
