I have not blogged in weeks. My bad! Not too much has happened since Halloween. I had another birthday and am now 27. Man I'm old! Eric took me out to dinner, which we never do anymore. It was very fun. He also played Scrabble with me, which is one of our favorite games. Eric's birthday is coming up already in a few weeks. He'll be 26.

School has been very busy. With the implementation of the ELD law in AZ, I've had a lot on my plate.The stress level has increased with the state audit coming up in January. I am in need of a mental holiday. Thankfully, Thanksgiving is in sight. Eric has been busy with work. The past 2 weeks he has been at sales and what not. I have not gotten to see him to much.

Last night, we went to a banquet with our church. It was very nice. We got to sit with the families form our Life Group and enjoy the evening. It is so nice to do things outside of our normal routine. We really enjoyed ourselves. We got home at 10:30pm and were exhausted. So, we went right to bed. We are so lame! We used to be able to stay up until all hours. Again, we are old!

We were able to get out a few weeks ago, and go hiking. We haven't been able to get out and hike since last spring because of the heat. It finally got cooler (the 80s) so we were able to get back out there. It was nice that we both had the same day off. We did an 8.5mile hike on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. We love being and doing things outside. I can't wait til we are able to go again. It will probably be after Thanksgiving as we do not get a lot of the same days off.
