The baby has been kicking for awhile now. This morning, Eric got to feel the little one kicking quite strongly. I was surprised how strong it was, but apparently the kiddo wanted me to get up. I would like for Emmett to feel it, but it just hasn't worked out yet. I have 19 weeks or so to go. So, I am sure at some point he'll feel it.
Actually, we're hoping we can go 19 more weeks. They told us that it is likely we'll go early since Emmett came naturally at 37 weeks. First babies usually go 40-41weeks. So, when the 1st comes early, statistically, the second comes earlier. That sort of freaked us (me) out. So, start praying and crossing your fingers. I'd really like to carry this baby as close to 40 weeks as possible. I'd like the baby to come as late as possible so my maternity leave could last as long as possible, and I would have fewer weeks to work until summer break. So my reasons are a bit selfish, but there you go. Of course I want a healthy baby too, and the longer he/she bakes the better it'll be right?
