Changing It Up

Last weekend we re-arranged the kid(s) room. We set up a toddler bed and moved the crib so they'd both fit. We stashed the baby gear in the alcove for now. We'll have to pull it out in a few months but for now, it's out of the way. We took all the 12 month clothes out and packed them up and got all the 18 month stuff out for Emmett. We bought some storage bins for the closet to but the new babies clothes in. We don't have room for another dresser and we figured that would be the best for now. I have yet to make it the fabric store to get material for a blanket for Emmett's new bed, but will soon. I'm excited things are coming together so nicely. Emmett doesn't want to sleep in the toddler bed yet. He just wants to climb and play on it, which is fine with us. He is like his mother and hates change. We figured the longer it was up for him to climb on and get used to the better. We'd really like the transition from the crib to the bed to be his choice. We don't want him to feel like we made him give up the crib for the baby, but more he chose to do it. So, we'll see. I need to take pictures to post, but Emmett is taking a nap right now and not sure it would be a good idea to go in there and start snapping some photos. Hopefully I can get to it later. Overall, I feel like we are utilizing the space better. I'd like to get some more stuff for the walls and make it a touch cuter. But we'll see.
