Christmas Vacation

It is official. I have started my Christmas vacation :) I am not quite sure what I am going to do with all the extra time on my hands. There are a lot of tedious things I could do, like clean, but who wants to do that with time off? I will, however, go into work and get my classroom in order, but only a day or two because I really need a break from that place.

Eric has December 23, 24, and 25 off which is so awesome. We did not think he would get Christmas Eve off, but he had such a rocking November he earned Christmas Eve off. That is cool. We have Breuker family events to go to on both the 23rd and 30th. It is very cool that all the family here includes us in there holiday activities. We are going to visit with our friends in Phoenix this Saturday before they fly back to Holland, MI. Our goal is to try to stay busy with various activities the next few weeks as to avoid any homesickness. People at work have invited us to their holiday events to help keep us busy too. A few co-workers even invited us to spend Christmas day with their families. I don't think we are going to do that, but it made me feel good to know people are looking out for us.

There will be no snow here for Christmas unfortunately. I think its supposed to be quite nice. Yuck! Who heard of a warm Christmas! I would rather have snow. O-well. Maybe next year we can go home to enjoy that part of Christmas.

Well, that's all for now.
Merry Christmas,
Allison & Eric

How exciting!!!! I hope you enjoy the well deserved time off. I know I have been! No snow...well we don't have any right now either...it actually is pretty ugly outside. But according to the good weather people in MI we are going to get hit this weekend. We'll see!!! I hope you and Eric have a great 1st Christmas together in AZ!!!! Take Care!
