Today was a good day. I was a little nervous that we would get homesick, but so far so good. Eric went into work this morning to deliver a car. I finally finished our Christmas stockings, just in time, by the way. I work best under pressure. This last minute approach drives my mother nuts, but as always, deal with it.We got all dressed up and went to church. 
This is us once again long arming the camera. There is a timer on the camera. We just haven't totally figured how that aspect of our camera works. O-well.
For those of you who don't know, the Lacey's have a Christmas tradition of fonduing on Christmas Eve. This has been a tradition that Eric has participated in the past 2 years. He really liked it. So, we decided to continue the tradition out here in Tucson. Thanks to my cousin Amanda and her husband (who got us a fondue pot for our wedding) we were able to cook up some fondue. Yeah! We spent the afternoon preparing the food, so when we came back from church we were ready to go. We had steak, chicken, shrimp, portebello mushrooms, and breaded jack cheese. Yes mom ,you told me once(when I whined and complained when you stopped doing fried cheese) that if I wanted I could do it when I was doing my own fondue. So, I did, and it was soo good! Eric made me open one of my presents tonight. He's been trying to get me to open one of my presents for days. Reluctantly I did. He got me a Demdago angel for my Nativity. He wanted me to open it before Christmas so we would be able to enjoy it for a while before I packed up all the Christmas stuff. The new angel is the one holding a star on the far right.
Well, I think that is all for tonight. We are going to watch the Polar Express before we go to bed. We can't stay up too late though, because Santa will be visiting soon...I hope :)
