So it came. My 30th birthday. Let me say I was not looking forward to it at all. For some reason 30 just seems old to me full of responsibility and no fun. Granted I am married, own a house, teach, and have a child. So I've had responsibilities for awhile now, but there is just something about 30 that I was/am having a really hard time with. Eric made it a great weekend. He arranged an overnight baby sitter for Emmett. Sent me to get a prenatal message and took me to Star Pass for a nice night out. We were able to sit at dinner for almost 3 hours and just talk, sleep in, and go shopping for Emmett's birthday and Christmas without distraction. It was a really really nice way to ease me into 30.
