First Week Back

So I made it through the first week Valentines party and all. The kids were good the first few days and started testing by Wednesday. They got away with a lot while I was gone. I made one child cry. He picked up another child and knocked his head into the metal classroom door. Called 2 parents their kids were not good one incident included mashed potatoes being flung across the cafeteria and had 2 kids in the Principal's office for punching each other in the face. Welcome Back to me!

On a more positive note I get to spend the weekend with Emmett. He is getting so big and developing quite the personality. His daycare provider LOVES him (and who can blame her!) Last night I made him laugh for the first time it was sooo cute. By the time Eric got the camera to record it he wouldn't do it anymore. Whenever he sees the camera he stops doing whatever it was and just stares at it. But we'll get it eventually and post it. He had done a laugh like a squeal with a smile before, but this was full on belly laughter. It was very cute. It made our day yesterday. We are having to turn the TV off now. We have it on a lot as background noise while Eric and I do stuff, but Emmett has now started "watching" it. He just stares at it mesmerized. The picture up top looks like he is looking at me, but really I am standing in front of the TV. He's getting better at tummy time and sitting in his BUMBO. He hates to miss things. When we go out he loves being out of his car seat and held so he can see everything. He will just watch people intently. He's quite the people magnet. We are just loving him.
