Hooray! I finished my college reading class today! Six credits down nine more to go (3 classes), and I will have my reading endorsement. I will take my next class in April. I wanted to take one on my maternity leave but they are all practicum classes. So I have to have accesses to kiddos to do the work. Apparently my small infant will not count. O-well.
Eric is at work today. He has to work again on Sunday in 2 weeks but other than that I should have him around after that. He is busy with school as well. He doesn't finish his classes until December. He is still working with NAU to figure out if he needs more classes at Pima Community or if he can start at NAU in January. The whole credit transfer thing from GRCC has been a bit confusing. If he doesn't start in January, he will in May/June or whenever their summer session starts. He's really anxious to finish his Bachelor's Degree.
I have 4 more weeks of being prego at least I hope so. Still feeling pretty good. I'm more tired and starting to get those little aches and pains, but I don't think I have anything to complain about. Some people have it so much worse. I am dialated to a 1 but the nurse (and books I've read) assured me I could be like that for weeks. I REALLY don't want to go early. I have stuff to do darn it. I still want to put up Christmas decorations, clean the house a bit more, get maternity lesson plans done, etc... Being the control freak I am, it really sucks that I have no control over this one. Plus, I really want a December baby for some reason. I think it would be cool if the baby was born on December 5 or 6 because my birthday is November 5 and Eric's is December 16. I'm such a dork to want the numbers to match. I highly doubt I will get my way on this one, but you never know. A girl can hope. I was sure I wouldn't be dialated mostly because I hadn't thought I had had too many Braxton Hicks contractions. Obviously I was wrong. I would guess I have at least 2 more weeks. Eric asked the baby to wait til after Thanksgiving because he wants to go to his Aunt Karen's and Uncle Earl's to eat turkey (me too). They make great food. My dad said he thinks the baby will come Thanksgiving morning just to spite us. If it was me, that's what I would do. So, we'll see. Either way, we are very excited!
