Friday did not rock...as it should. My kids had a really good week, but I was tired and run down. I was getting over a bug from the week before and just haven't quite been able to catch up on my sleep. I left work later than I should on a Friday and was exhausted. I got on the highway (at rush hour mind you) and started hearing a deep thud noise that sounded like maybe a muffler or a car with a straight pipe. I looked up to see if it was the car behind me because no one else was around me. Not him. Crap I was thinking...is it me? As I am thinking this ,I lost control of my car and started swerving around the interstate. Thank goodness no was around me. Long story short, I had a flat, and I had to wait an hour for someone to come help me. It sucked! I was on an overpass ( not a safe place to be) and was a little freaked out. Semis at 70 mph with inches between you...scary. I couldn't even get out of my car. Eventually, I was able to move forward off the overpass away from the guardrail. Much safer there.
This morning I waited 3 hours for my car to get fixed. They had to order my tire, and the people who delivered it took forever!
God does throw in his little blessing though, because Eric received a sales bonus this week for almost exactly what it took to fix the tire and have an oil change and stuff. So, that was the nice part of it all. It was nice to not have to stress about how we were going to pay for everything.
Also, yeah to my husband..who in his infinite wisdom knew I wouldn't want to cook when I got home. So, he had pizza ordered and ready for pick-up by the time I made it home. I love that guy!
Well, I have a ton of grading to do as well as progress reports and laundry. So, more as life happens.
