Really Busy!

OK, so sometimes I'm very bad at keeping this thing up-dated. Sorry :( Anyway we have been quite busy.

The Breuker family ( Eric's mom, dad, and sister) came to visit since we last wrote (Tuesday Jan. 22- Monday Jan. 28). It was way fun. It was nice to see family. It was such a laid back visit. Eric said it was almost like we were on vacation too. I think I agree with him.

Eric got to go golfing with his dad. Eric and I got to go out with his sister and cousin on Saturday night. That was really great because we haven't really gone out with people our own age for a night of fun since we came to Tucson. We played lots of cards with the family. We took them all wine tasting which was, of course, a lot of fun. We went to Dan's siblings for dinner and what not. Overall, excellent visit. Bad job by me though. I forgot to take pictures:( I've never been good remembering to take pictures.

Eric has also has been quite busy because it was the end of the month at the dealership. I have not really seen him this past week. I have also been very busy. One of my 1st grade teammates has been in and out of the hospital since Christmas. The subs we were getting were really sucky. In the eyes of our state visitors, we were still going to be responsible for their reading test data regardless of who was teaching them. So we decided to split her class up between the 4 remaining teachers. We thought the kids would be better off in our classrooms where there's structure and routine. Also, we are actually teaching them stuff. So, I got 5 extra kids last Friday and 2 new students this week. Needless to say, my classroom feels like it's shrinking. But all the kids I have gotton have been really cool. I think I got the best ones! So, yea me!

Well, I think I have covered the high pointed of the last two weeks. We are looking foward to my brother Scott and his girlfriend Natasha coming to visit in a couple of weeks. Yea for visitors!
