5 Months!

OK so I've been a bit of a slacker in regards to posting lately. I was doing so well there for a minute, but then life snuck up on us and got a bit in the way of blogging. I have a ton of post ideas in my head, but just not enough hours in the day to get it all done. But I'll highlight the important stuff.
Eli was 5 months at the end of June! Time is just flying by. He is getting so big and remains one of the happiest little people I have ever encountered. He is not quite sitting up unassisted yet, but it's coming. He's got several promising little bumps in his mouth, but no teeth. He's been that way for about a month now. He is constantly drooling so he's usually sporting a bib (I took it off for this picture). Everything goes in his mouth right now and while he is quite attached to his pacifier, we also catch him sucking his thumb quite a bit too. He loves watching Emmett run around and is very curious about him. He has found his screaming voice and like to jabber away in a screaming voice. He is super ticklish. We all love tickling him to get a few belly laughs. We haven't started solids yet. We'll probably wait until 6 months. I've decided there is no hurry to rush it. He nurses well, is gaining weight, and sleeps through the night. No need to rush him growing up. He is in size 3-6mo. or 6 month clothes and wears a size 3 diaper. He's going to catch Emmett at some point. We love love love this kid!

Like I said...puts everything in his mouth!
