I was really excited about this new game. The ever so classic ball toss like they used to do on the Bozo the Clown Show. I had been saving old coffee can and cleaning them out. I was building up this fun activity we were going to do with balls. He was so excited. I set it up and showed him what to do and then let him go at it. It lasted all of 2 minutes. Totally a bust. He wanted nothing really to do with it. I was kind of disappointed because I know how much he loves throwing balls that I thought it would be a big hit. I was wrong.
My guess is he just likes throwing balls, but he's not trying to hit a target or do any established thing other than throwing the ball, seeing where it goes, and chasing it. He was also having a hard time with even standing close. Maybe coordination wise he's not ready yet so therefore he didn't want to do something he wasn't going to be successful at. Who knows. Guess I'll save it for later and hope for a better outcome next time.
