Urg! I have a yucky toothache! It started this summer with a dull ache every now and then. I had made a dentist appointment but had to cancel because of work. Then it went away for a few months. It would act up here and there as a dull annoyance but nothing big. Had another appointment in Oct/Nov. but it took so long to confirm my new insurance that by the time my cleaning was done the dentist had left for the day. So, in the past 2 weeks it has escalated from a daily dull annoyance to a sharp searing throbbing pain that really hurts. My face and ear have started to ache as a result. I'm fairly certain it will be a root canal. Yuck! O-how I love my expensive teeth. Maybe I should ask Santa for new healthy teeth for Christmas. The stinky part is that I have to have the dentist diagnoses it, get my midwives to sign off on treatment before the dentist will agree to do the work, and then get the work done. I hope it can all happen tomorrow. Fingers crossed. The other stinky part is that I keep having to dip into my sick hours which I'm saving for maternity leave. But what are you going to do?
On another note, we are getting ready for the baby. We have 5 -8 weeks left. We got all the clothes we have washed and put away. We have a few diapers and Eric set up the bassinet in our room. So, starting to feel better. Still need to figure out the stroller situation for going out with both kids, but that doesn't feel as urgent. Anyways...that it for today.
