Spring Break 2011

It's spring break! Woot Woot! My dad was able to come last minute, which has already made my week and it's only Tuesday. Emmett is loving his Bubba Doug. When Emmett says grandpa it sounds like Bubba or Bumpa. We have a picture of my dad on the fridge. We have been practicing. He has been able to identify him by picture for about a week. It was neat to see him translate that to the real person within 15min. of seeing him. We get up before Bubba Doug and Emmett has been asking for him as soon as he gets up. We say Grandpa Doug is still sleeping. He's night night and he just points to the door saying his name. He also gets very upset if he thinks Bubba Doug is leaving, usually he's just going to the bathroom. He likes playing ball with him so much he doesn't want him to stop. So cute. He has been playing ball with him non stop. It's been great. We were able to go to the zoo with Bubba Doug so far. He also helped me with Emmett while I ran errands. It's been so great having him here. Pictures and more to come soon.
