Emmett is two months. It has gone by so quickly. Too quickly if you ask me, but Eric and I have enjoyed every second of it. Emmett is smiling now when he looks at us. Yesterday, he laughed for the first time. It was so cute. He was doing it all day yesterday when he was in his bouncer looking at his animals. Apparently they were being really funny. Here are some pictures of times we've tried to catch him smiling.
Here is the conclusion of bath time. First time in a while he wasn't wailing so I thought I tried to record it.

You are right, Emmett looks just like Scott in this picture!
It is so incredible how FAST they change and grow, so keep taking lots of pictures and sharing them with all of us on your blog please.

One of the teacher's at Lakeshore brought in her baby before she returned to the classroom so her students could see him. She brought in pictures when she returned to the classroom and kept changing them as her baby grew and did different things. Her students could see his progress which seemed to bring a level of bonding and understanding that she was a MOM just like each of them have a Mom.
It also helped her get through that transition time because the kids would ask about him and she would share things about him. It also brought a different level of raport with her kids and some of the parents?!
Praying for the three of you regularly and loving being able to watch as things happen and change in your lives. :)
