Good Job Eric!

So, yesterday my husband came home with a surprise for me. You should know, I love surprises! It was not flowers or candies or bags of money. It was 10 times better! What could it be you ask?

SHOES!!!!! Not just any kind of shoes, my favorite kind, flip-flops.

I LOVE shoes, my shoe collection pales in comparison, though, to my moms. She's probably where I got my love of shoes. I love flip-flops the most. I actually love to be bare footed but you have to have shoes on in most public places and here in AZ I would have 3rd degree burns without shoes on. Anyway, I haven't been able to let myself splurge on shoes I don't really need. All my flip-flops are like 2 years old and thin from wear and melt. The pavement here is steaming and Old Navy flips don't stand a chance. I only had 1 pair left, and they were killing my feet. I could feel the rocks poking through. After a walk in a store, I would have to put my feet up because they'd ache so much. I finally threw them away and was wearing my hiking sandals. I don't really like them because they're enclosed and make my feet extra sweaty and stinky.

I love plain colored things. I love brown shoes for some reason. My mom is always trying to get me out of my box. She always suggests these bright color shoes that scream "Here I am." Not me. I like brown and plain. I am boring I know.

Anyway, Eric came home with brown Reef flip-flops right size and everything. Does he know me or what! He's such a good listener. I mean he knew my shoe size and everything. So...good job Eric!

It just made me happy so I thought I'd share.

Way to go Eric! Good way to redeem yourself after the bathroom incident:) I Love Reef flip flops! I might own 3 pairs. All purchased before I got married 3 years ago.... Josh put a cap on my shoe owning at 15 pairs. I might have smuggled a few into the marriage. Shhh. Don't tell.
