So big news! Eric and Allison have put an offer in on a house. We are in the process of getting all the loan stuff approved and what not. If all goes OK we should be able to move in sometime mid May.
We are so EXCITED!
I tried to get pictures off the real estate website, but I couldn't get it too work. As soon I can take some pictures I will. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a 2 stall garage. The backyard is fairly large. We are a bit outside of Tucson (but still a Tucson address). I am excited about it because even though we are in a neighborhood (which I have never lived in ) we are kind of outside Tucson. Which is great because I don't love inner city Tucson. In Rita Ranch (our neighborhood) it's all quiet and familyish and stuff. I am beyond excited. Eric is too.
Anyway we have our inspection tomorrow. I am looking forward to it because I know nothing about houses or house maintenance. I think it will be educational.
It took me a while to get used to AZ housing style. Our house it all tile floors (really nice ones). Those types of floors are preferred here because it allows the air conditioning and cool air to circulate. We are thinking it will help with cooling cost. Plus they are super neat looking. The previous owners put all new 18 in. tile down on a diagonal.
It is not a super large house, but we think it is a GREAT starter home. Did I tell you we were EXCITED! Because we are!

That is so exciting!!! I'm so happy for you guys! I hope the process goes smoothly and quickly!! When are you done teaching for the year? I'm assuming that you are staying down there since you are buying a house! :)
