Breuker Updates

We decided to start this blog since we are so far away and keeping in touch with all our friends and family on a regular basis gets hard.

Jobs
In case you didn't know, we have been in Tucson, AZ for 4 months! It has gone bye very quickly. It seems like ages ago that we cleaned out our 1st apartment, loaded up a truck, and set out west. Eric is still selling cars at Acura and enjoying it. He tries to "sell" me on getting one daily. I am almost done with my 2nd quarter. My 1st graders are getting so smart, but I might be bias. Our end of the quarter district testing is coming up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's a lot of testing for these little guys. Plus the coming holiday season has them geeked.

Thanksgiving
We spent our first Thanksgiving away from home. It was a little harder for me than Eric, I think. But we had a good day. Eric has made friends with some of my co-workers, and he was able to go golfing on Thanksgiving morning. He had some much needed boy time. We spent the afternoon with Eric's Uncle Earl and Aunt Karen and their kids and grand kids. We ate till it hurt. They also have a love of games like us. We learned how to play Bunko. It was really fun and everyone was able to play even the little kids.

Black Friday
I am too much like my mom in some regards. You couldn't have paid me to go out in those crowds. Instead, I decorated our apartment which was really fun for me. I already had our tree up because as soon as we bought it (2wks ago)it went up. I was so excited I couldn't wait and had it out of the box within 5 minutes of getting home. I decorated the tree, put out our Nativity, got out winter dishes, and hung extra lights. It made me feel better about being homesick.

I don't think there is too much else to say. Plus I need to start making dinner.
