Emmett is getting so big. He was 13 lb. 7 oz at his 6 month appointment. Still less than the 5th percentile but growing. So, that's all that matters. He loves his rice cereal. He eats it before bed and sometimes at breakfast. Now that I'm home in the morning he'll probably be having it for breakfast more. He attacks the spoon like a wild animal. It's funny. We started him on homemade sweet potato puree. The first few times he was a fan and then not so much. We will try it again later in a few weeks. He is loving the butternut squash puree. He can sit pretty well unassisted until he reaches for something and then he falls over. We put the boppy around him for back up. You'll hear him start to whimper and cry because he is all slumped over and can't get up. He's found his feet and loves to grab stuff. Emmett loves music and likes it when mom and dad dance with him. He's figured out temper tantrums as well. Those are not so cool. Eric and I usually laugh at him, which makes him more mad. The kid has a temper. Not sure where he got it from. Weird. Overall, it's been a fabulous 6 months. It's gone too fast if you ask me. Looking forward to being home with him this summer. He's amazing. We are loving ever second! We're very thankful for our little miracle.
