Yesterday Eric and I left work as soon as we could and headed up to Phoenix to see my dad. He was in town for some conference and invited us up for dinner. If you know us, you know we'll do just about anything for some food. It was a long drive and a late night but super worth it!
It was a good time. We were up there by 5:30 and had a good 4 hours with Doug. The resort he was at was beautiful. We got to walk around a bit and sat by the pool before going to dinner. We sat outside for 3ish hours chatting and eating. It was wonderful. I had been feeling a tad homesick of late so it was a good remedy.
The great thing is they'll be back in 4 weeks for my spring break. So hurray for that! I brought the camera for pictures, but I forgot to take any. Oops! Well, there is our mini Breuker update.
