Success

We had our 1st grade Christmas concert tonight. Each grade level had to do some activity that would bring the parents to the school for something. The first grade teachers chose to do a Christmas choir concert. I was apprehensions about it. I knew that would be a lot of work and wasn't too sure.

I was presently surprised. Our little guys did wonderful.!They memorized 5 songs, which were not too easy, and they rocked the socks off everyone. I was very impressed by our kiddos. They were well behaved and smiley. It was very cool. Our Principal was so shocked at 1. how well the kids sang and 2. how many parents were there. Apparently they ended up having to take down the set up they had for seating because too many people kept showing up. She said in her many years at our school she'd never seen so many parents come for a single grade level. So, Hurray! It was just encouraging given the fact the last few months have been discouraging at school.

Also, it is Eric's birthday today. I got make him a cake and light candle. Too cool!
