I have set a new personal best record. Many of you may recall some of my school stories involving vomit (if not read Nov. 2007). I hit the school high last year with like 5 vomiters.
So, guess who had the 1st vomitting of the year? ME! We were on the way to an assemble when I see my line starting to get all weird. Then some cries of "GROSS!" follow. I go to look and one of my little girls has thrown up all over the sidewalk. And not just a little throw up. The kid had projectile vomit all over the width of the side walk. Plus, she must have walked 4 feet while puking.
I grab another teacher to watch my class and bring her to the office. She tries to tell me she's fine and her tummy was a little upset but she's all better now. I drag her to the nurse's office anyway. 102 temperature...she's not all better.
On my out to the assemble to meet my class I find another one of my students walking all weird like Frankenstien and almost crying. No she did not puke. She was just covered in it. She was in the path of the 1st one and had vomit from her shoulder all the way to her shoes. Once we got her in clean clothes she was really cool about it. So that was awesome. O-man I love 1st grade!
Overall, I think I have a really cool class. I think it will be a good year. I think I was really blessed while at the same time I think He must smile everytime He sees me with the vomiters.
Anyway..that was the start of my week. Overall pretty good.

I love it!!! Only you!!!! Good thing it was outside...easy clean up. Maybe you should make a new rule...if you need to vomit...do it outside!! :) Good to hear from you again and glad you have a good class!!! We'll talk soon!
