I kind of thought the desert was very ugly but this weekend I changed my opinion (at least for the month of April). I never really believed cactus got flowers. I mean they're all poky and mean looking. I thought that when people used the term "cactus flower" they were just trying to be ironic.
On Sunday, we went out to Sabino Canyon and it was beautiful. Most of the Prickly Pear was budding or flowering. The Cholla and the Saguaro were budding. Eric took like 20 pictures of just cactus flowers. Obviously, I couldn't post them all. Here are some of them for you Michiganders who didn't know that cactus get flowers.

What great pictures!!! Hope you are enjoying yourselves yet!!! Allison, you have to be getting close to being finished for the year! How exciting! How is the house coming? Have you moved in yet?
